Thirteenth Week in Germany

This week we spent quite a bit of time getting ready for school to start. We also did a bit of shopping for Avery's birthday. It is just not as easy to run out and get things at the last minute like it is in the States. I loved having Target right around the corner for any of those last minute needs. We are learning to plan ahead and adjust our "needs" a little bit.

Monday, we went to Toys R Us in Koln. The girls really enjoyed it. It felt very familiar. There was a McDonalds across the street so we did lunch there as well. It was great. We found several things for Avery and found a bike for Bailey. She was seriously growing out of her old bike and the bike shops here are quite expensive. It was nice to have the Toys R Us option.
Tuesday, we went to the Lesh's house for a play date. It was nice to chat and have the kids occupy themselves constructively.

Saturday, Greg constructed the bike early in the morning. Bailey and Greg had some alone time taking their bikes for a ride down the Rhein. This time they remembered the camera. We did some more shopping and went downtown Bonn to shop the marketplace. It was great. That was about it.
